If you`ve ever been involved in a translation or localization process, you`ve probably encountered situations where the words were translated but the meaning was completely lost. It`s for that exact reason that we`ve established our Editing Department. At QT, each translation is reviewed by one of our professional editors; all of them trained linguists with extensive experience in translation and editing. Their wealth of knowledge and fresh perspective enables them to spot pitfalls that even the best of translators sometimes overlook.

with the client`s requirements and special preferences and often lead the compilation of the glossary and style guide – preparing special instructions for the translators. Moreover, they assist the project managers in all linguistic aspects of the project and address translators` questions. In essence, it`s my team`s job to review each translation in terms of linguistic integrity, completeness and accuracy of the translation, as well as its adherence to approved terminology. We`re the ones who make sure the content of your translated product or document is both faithful to the original and successful in the new language.
